Akerna is the merger of leading seed-to-sale tracking tech company MJ Freeway and specialty acquisition firm Mtech. Focused on providing information infrastructure to the cannabis industry, it’s the first company of its kind to be NASDAQ- listed (KERN). Our name solution name features ‘kern’, from the word ‘kernel’ which has relevant meanings for both agriculture and computing.
