Recognized as North America’s top chocolatier, Fran’s Chocolates is a Seattle icon, with three high-end retail locations and an international following. I’ve been involved in numerous projects for the brand, from retail design to brand copy. Our “Hunt for the Golden Ticket” promotion won a Marketing Magazine gold medal (appropriately enough). I originated the “streaking light” look for product photography, as seen in the tourist-oriented brand sign from the Sea-Tac airport gift shop shown here. Most recently, I’ve written copy to support broadening distribution of the brand’s signature product, Chocolate Salted Caramels.
