It was fitting that Heckler Associates, who had helped bring New Balance into the modern era and created many of its sub-brands, should help the company celebrate its centennial as a global success. I was proud to write the copy for this commemorative piece about the family of brands, intended for an internal NB audience. It features “Ma Balance” from the 70s store poster “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going.”
